Systane® ULTRA Lubricant Eye Drops FAQs

 

    Systane® ULTRA is a preserved formulation suitable for occasional users, which contains a very small quantity of the preservative (POLYQUAD™ 0.001%). Systane® ULTRA Preservative-Free lubricant eye drops is a preservative-free formulation, suitable for frequent users and available in 10ml multi-dose bottle and 30 count single-use vials.

    Yes, Systane® ULTRA lubricant eye drops can be used while wearing soft contact lenses**.

    Systane® ULTRA 10ml bottle can be used for 6 months after opening as long as the product has not expired. Always check the label for the expiration date.

    Ingredients & Safety

     

      A sterile solution containing polyethylene glycol 400, propylene glycol, hydroxypropyl guar, sorbitol, aminomethylpropanol, boric acid, potassium chloride, sodium chloride, POLYQUAD™ (polyquaternium-1) 0.001% preservative, and purified water. May contain hydrochloric acid and/or sodium hydroxide to adjust pH.

      For ocular use only.

      If solution changes color or becomes cloudy, and you are sensitive to any ingredient in this product, do not use.

      To avoid contamination, never touch the dropper tip of the container to any surface.

      Replace cap after using.

      Stop using and consult your eye care professional if you experience:

      • Persistent eye discomfort
      • Vision changes
      • Excessive tearing
      • Redness of the eye


      Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help.
