Dry Eye is a chronic condition that develops when your eyes either don’t produce enough tears, or produce poor quality tears, or the surface of the eye itself is changed. Any of these can cause your eyes to feel dry and irritated.1
Dry Eye Symptoms
While dryness is the most common symptom of Dry Eye, other symptoms such as, watery eyes, blurry vision, burning, irritation, scratchiness, or tired eyes can occur.1
What Causes Dry Eye
A variety of factors can combine to contribute to Dry Eye. Most symptoms are related to lifestyle, environment, surgery or certain medications, but also age related factors, like menopause.
